My Review:
Oh yeah, i loved this latest collection! Things are really ramping up, we're almost at the big reveal of what happened-and we got multiple mentions of it, which was really great! I'm so excited to continue on with the series! We're almost to the point where I had read up to what was currently published, and I was eagerly awaiting the next weekly installment! The first one was the one with the cow.
Sometimes, I just want to shake Minthe. She knows she's done wrong, she knows Thetis isn't her friend, and yet, she does what she does in these episodes, which are going to have some pretty big consequences. It's so frustrating to know she could've made a better choice!
And with that investigation into Persephone, to try and get dirt on her, and then confirming that something was going on, yeah, that was the big plot in this volume. Though Apollo does show his true colours to Hera, so that's something positive!
We get to see Persephone and Hade's first meeting, and oh, it was so funny, that he was drunk, and she was a butterfly, but it also tied into this bigger plot. And oh, her actions in this book, knowing what's coming-yeah, that ending was just such a cliffhanger, and I kinda feel sorry for those that are just reading these collected volumes, because that was an evil ending!
Loved this, and I can't wait for Volume 6!
