Week 2 Review: The Atlas Complex

From Goodreads:
The Atlas Complex marks the much-anticipated, heart-shattering conclusion in Olivie Blake's trilogy that began with the New York Times bestselling phenomenon, The Atlas Six .

Only the extraordinary are chosen.

Only the cunning survive.

An explosive return to the library leaves the six Alexandrians vulnerable to the lethal terms of their recruitment.

Old alliances quickly fracture as the initiates take opposing strategies as to how to deal with the deadly bargain they have so far failed to uphold. Those who remain with the archives wrestle with the ethics of their astronomical abilities, while elsewhere, an unlikely pair from the Society cohort partner to influence politics on a global stage.

And still the outside world mobilizes to destroy them, while the Caretaker himself, Atlas Blakely, may yet succeed with a plan foreseen to have world-ending stakes. It’s a race to survive as the six Society recruits are faced with the question of what they're willing to betray for limitless power―and who will be destroyed along the way.

My Review:
This was a really great end to the series. It's been weird since it began, and it ended like it started, being just a bit out there and big brain energy. I loved following along with these characters for the last time as they dealt with the events of the last book, and what they were facing against.

That last bit with Libby in Paradox, yeah, she went though a lot to get back. And we kept having some questions about that in the back of her head. When we find out what happened, yeah, that was pretty shocking but fantastic to read!

I'm still a bit unsure of what happened with Dalton, and the experiment, how all those pieces came together. I can understand why Libby made the choices that she did, but I'm not sure of all the pieces that came together there, since there was the bits and pieces from the last two books as well to consider.

That one last chapter of Tristian's, where he tries out all those different futures, that was so bittersweet, of all the different ways that things could've gone, even if I have no idea what he changed to get those outcomes. Though I'm not sure which one he went with in the end, given a later chapter that he was in...

Loved reading this book and I can't wait to read more by Olivie Blake!
