Book Blogger Hop #367, October 18th

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer's permission, Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013. Check out the hop here

Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop's purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

The Question of the week is: What novel would you recommend that blends characteristics of your favorite genre with horror concepts, and why? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

What came to mind, was the smart and common sense of the ladies of Kelley Armstrong's books. I'll have to do a reread, since I don't remember, but definitely her adult books, these women don't make the decisions that we scream at people in horror stories for making, oso that's great! What about you guys? Happy reading!

  1. I do often ask myself why TV characters choose to do the things that they do 😂 just run away 😂

  2. One of the first things my sons learned in Scouts was to never go alone, to always go with a partner. Why then do so many people go down dark roads or into dark houses alone?! Were they never Scouts?! lol

  3. There's a reason I like YA thrillers more than adult thrillers...because when the teenagers make those stupid choices it's because they're stupid teenagers. I expect better from adults. I hope you have a great weekend. - Katie

  4. Are you telling me the characters don't think it is a good idea to hide in the basement?
