Week 43 Review: This Girl's A Killer

From Goodreads:
Meet Cordelia Black. Cordelia loves exactly three things: her chosen family composed of her best friend Diane and her goddaughter; her hairdresser (worth every penny plus tip); and killing bad men.

By day she's a successful pharmaceutical rep with a pristine reputation and a designer wardrobe. By night she's culling South Louisiana of unscrupulous men—monsters who always seem to evade justice, until they meet her. It's a complicated yet fulfilling life that requires complete and total control at all times. But when the evening news starts throwing around the words "serial killer," pressure heightens for her in the South, and it's only exacerbated when Diane starts dating a man Cordelia isn't sure is a good person—someone who might unravel everything Cordelia has worked for. Soon Cordelia's world spirals, and she loses her grip on those tightly held threads that keep her safe.

My Review:
I had such a fantastic time reading this book! The idea of a lady killer, going after this various bad guys, it was just so entertaining to read! And the downward spiral, where everything was going wrong, I just had to keep reading, to see just how bad it could get-and how she was going to get out of it!

Cordelia is a successful woman, she's a good sales rep for a pharmaceutical company, she has her best friend, and her best friend's daughter, her life is great. She also, in her spare time, kills men, monsters, who she encounters. And then things start going wrong, and I couldn't get enough!

That Diane's boyfriend was acting suspicious, but because of how protective Cordelia is, she's not able to get how serious, how important it was, that this was not a good dude. Which is part of the spiral, espcailly after events happen. Add in the police, a neighbourhood dog that keeps getting into her house, and a rotting body in her bathroom, yeah, it was chaotic and so very entertaining!

I saw on another review that the author has toyed with writing a sequel to this book. Which I'm absolutely rooting for that, I had such a great time with these characters and I would love to spend more time with them, watch them deal with another series of events!

Loved reading this book, and I can't wait to read more by Emma C. Wells, in the potential series or other stories!
