The Question of the week is: Have you ever purchased the wrong book by accident? If so, what did you do next? Did you return the book, keep it, pass it on to another reader, or donate it? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)
It depends on what you mean by wrong. I have had the wrong edition sent to me, and sometimes ARC's from used bookstores that I've ordered online. And I usually contact the company, and they refund me, and I try and buy another copy of the book. But I keep the ARC, because they're special copies! Though the one book I had to order 4 times, because I got 3 copies of the ARC.
If you mean a totally different book? I can't think of anything. Maybe sometimes when I'm in a used bookstore in person, and can't check what I own, I might accidentally buy duplicate copies, but I usually try to pass on those. What about you guys? Happy reading!
