Week 50 Reviews: Demonology, Becoming, Truth and Consequences, Territorial, Escape, Adventurer, Chaotic, Bargain, Framed, Checkmate, Recruit

From Goodreads:
About Talia and her son Adam.

From Goodreads:
This free online graphic novella tells the story of Elena’s “becoming” a werewolf—that dark period from the time Clay bites her through her escape to Toronto.

From Goodreads:
Here I first created the character of Elena. If you’ve read Bitten, you may recognize some aspects of the story, which were briefly recounted there. The events were the impetus (or excuse) for Elena deciding to leave the Pack–a resolve which she must break at the start of Bitten.

From Goodreads:
Karl Marsten before the events of Bitten.

From Goodreads:
Eve’s incarceration at the compound.

From Goodreads:

Adventurer is a short story about "Silent Kenneth", the shaman of the interracial council.

From Goodreads:
Kelley Armstrong returns to the Otherworld with "Chaotic," where a half-demon tabloid journalist's boring date is saved...by a supernatural explosion? She's off to save the day—if only her less-than-stellar date wouldn't tag along! Luckily, the intriguing, infuriating, and just plain sexy werewolf/jewel thief Karl Marsten also appears.

From Goodreads:
Xavier gets the “From Hell” letter theft job.

From Goodreads:

About Nick Sorrentino who is framed and then blackmailed.

From Goodreads:
In Frostbitten, Elena mentions tracking a killer in Winnipeg. This is that story.

From Goodreads:
This was a very short story written as an extra for Frostbitten.

It takes place before the book begins, and launched the investigation that eventually led Elena and Clay to Alaska.

My Review:
I really, really, really loved reading these stories! They were a) so entertaining and b) adding some much more depth the the universe, that I just loved them, and had to read them, and enjoy them, savour them, because they were that freaking good!

So of all these stories, six of them are are narrated by characters that have narrated a full length novels in the series. In order, Elena, Elena, Eve, Hope, Elena, and Elena. Notice a lot of the werewolves? But they didn't have all the stories! And these aren't all the short stories in the series, they're just all the ones that aren't in the 2 collections that are currently out!

The ones narrated by others, periphery characters, those ones, I think, were the ones that I was most interested in, because they are in the series, but most of the time, they either are just mentioned, or play small roles.

And I know that I didn't read all of them, I know there's more, because Cassandra had some more, and there were a few other tales, but at least I got what I got this time! And also, because I don't know where to get them as yet, that'll take time that I don't currently have. Someday, I hope!

Such great stories, so good, love this series so much!
