Week 50 Reviews: Men of the Otherworld, Tales of the Otherworld

From Goodreads:
A curious child, Clayton didn’t resist the bite, he asked for it. But surviving alone is impossible, until Jeremy teaches human-wolf balance, gives him a home, and welcomes him to the Pack - hierarchical founding family where bloodlines are all, and members face deadly challenges. Clayton narrates 3 tales, "Infusion," "Savage," "Ascension", and Jeremy tells "Kitsunegari."

From Goodreads:
More of New York Times best-selling author Kelley Armstrong's most popular Otherworld characters get a chance to shine in this second short fiction collection, showcasing critical moments from many different lives.

Kelley So lArmstrong's readers have proven themselves a dedicated fan-base: her previous hardcover collection of short stories, Men of the Otherworld, appeared on the New York Times bestseller list, and Canadian lists too - despite three of the stories having been available, unedited and for free, for years on Armstrong's website. With a similar format - a handful of reedited stories and one wholly original novella - Tales of the Otherworld explores the lives of some of Armstrong's most popular characters, giving readers glimpses into how Clay and Elena met, how Eve and Kristof first hooked up (a brand new novella), and how Lucas and Paige got married.

My Review:
Loved reading these collections so much! I had read Men of the Otherworld before, but not Tales of the Otherworld, so yeah, it was just great to read these, and then, all the rest of the short stories that I could find!

So like the title suggest, Men is about the guys in the series, mainly, Clay, and Jeremy. They both get a few number of stories, of Clay's life before, and during, his life with Elena, of how he first got bitten, meeting Jeremy, and living with him, watching him grow up, just so great!

And then more looks into the lives of some of the best characters in the series that are old enough to have books, and things that led to even greater things-like Savannah, she wouldn't have happened if Eve and Kristof hadn't hooked up!

One thing thing that I really would have loved, would be to have known where these stories fit into the series, chronologically, so I could have read them then, but too late, now, so oh, well. Would've been nice, but didn't happen this time!

Loved these both so much, and yeah, I will be rereading them!
