Week 21 Review: Sixth Grave on the Edge

From Goodreads:
Few things in life can come between a grim reaper and her coffee, but the sexy, sultry son of Satan is one of them. Now that Reyes Farrow has asked for her hand, Charley Davidson feels it's time to learn more about his past, but Reyes is reluctant to open up. When the official FBI file of his childhood abduction lands in her lap, Charley decides to go behind her mysterious beau’s back and conduct her own investigation. Because what could go wrong?

Unfortunately, another case has fallen into her lap—one with dangerous implications. Some very insistent men want Charley to hunt down a witness who is scheduled to testify against their boss, a major player in the local crime syndicate. If Charley doesn't come up with an address in 48 hours, the people closest to her will start to disappear.

Add to that a desperate man in search of the soul he lost in a card game, a dogged mother determined to find the ghost of her son, and a beautiful, young Deaf boy haunted by his new ability to see the departed as clearly as he sees the living, and Charley has her hands full. The fact that Reyes has caught on to her latest venture only adds fuel to the inferno that he is. Good thing for Charley she's used to multi-tasking and always up for a challenge…especially when that challenge comes in the form of Reyes Farrow.

My Review:
I absolutely loved this book! It was so, so, so amazing, funny, wonderful, and inducing such a great love in me for it, just like the previous 5 books!!! I had to read it, I really did, because it was Charley, and Reyes, and it had just come out, and I needed to read it now!!!

Lots happens in this book, we get to learn more about some of the ins and outs of Hell, specifically, the slave species, of a guy that could possibly defeat Reyes, as in the guy that took the soul in the card game, and his interest in keeping Charley alive...yeah.

I loved Charley's plan for getting Cookie and her Uncle together, that was just so hilarious, and how he brought it back on her? That was just so hilarious, and that they were finally starting to date! We've been waiting for that one, like, the entire series!!!

Or how about her soon to be ex-stepmom? And how she wanted Charley to try and help her evilness and her dad get back together, and dropping something of a bomb on Charley when she was refused? Yeah, from the description of the 7th book, that's going to be important!

One part that I really, really, really loved, was that Reyes took out the wall between their bedrooms, that was just hilarious, and other people's reactions to it! Or when he was having a shower when Charley yelled because she got something in her eye, and he came to her rescue without a towel, and bust the door open! And that Amber saw him naked! That was just so hilarious!

I loved this book to pieces, and I can't wait for No Body, after this one's ending (which was just as good as Past the Light!!!)
