Week 18 Review: A Bite to Remember

From Goodreads:
Rule #1: Never get involved with someone who won't be there for you when the sun comes up.
Once bitten, twice shy, and sexy PI Jackie Morrisey wasn't going there again. Vincent Argeneau may be the hottest guy she's ever met, living or dead, but she's here to stop a killer from turning this vampire into dust, not to jump into bed with him.

Rule #2: Never kiss a vampire...it can be a pain in the neck.

Okay, so Vincent's had four hundred years to perfect his kissing skills, and he does look rather tempting when he runs around the house shirtless. He's also charming, protective...did we mention he can kiss? Jackie needs to be on her guard, or else she'll have to come up with a new rule: If you're going to fall in love with a vampire, make sure it's a bite to remember.

My Review:
This book was really fantastic book! The past two books haven't had a villain, they've had the whole vampire situation. But this book, like the first two, has both main characters knowing, being, or finding out about vampires in the beginning vs. later on in the book.

We first met Vincent really in the past book, and that was really interesting, and he was funny and enjoyable to read about! And the play that he was in, the Dracula musical, and all the cast members being fed upon, was a part of this book!

I really enjoyed Jackie, she's known about vampires for a while, works for them as a investigator-and had a bad experience with one of them when she was young, that tainted her view of most vampires until Vincent helped open up her eyes.

There were little things through this book that didn't mean much, little throwaway details, that as it turns out, weren't all that throwaway. That they meant something, and were part of the story of why this was happening, not that we knew it at the time!

Such a fantastic book to read, so enjoyable, and I can't wait to read more!
