My Review:
This book was so fantastic to read! I really enjoy Westworld, so having a Disney-ish YA book form is a pretty awesome thing! There's this idea that a engineered being like Ana or her sisters, they can be programmed and controlled. That they can't have original thought or action. Ana proves them oh, so wrong!
We're told this story alternating between Ana meeting and falling in love with Owen, and the present, where she's on trial for his murder. So we know that something has gone wrong, we just don't know what, or how.
Ana mostly had the personality of what you'd expect from a princess, it was what she was made for. But she has her own interests, like being outdoors, and the bioengineered creatures. She was also a bit naive, because she doesn't have access to the outside world.
The mystery was pretty fantastic. Of where her one sister went, why she tried to kill a child. I loved how Ana connected the dots to what The Kingdom had planned. I wouldn't mind a sequel to deal with the fallout, because that would be pretty fantastic!
