My first review of Little White Lies, Deadly Little Scandals
My Review:
I of course, loved reading these books! I loved reading them the first time, and it was so great to read them again! And to read them back to back, because there were little hints in the first, about their grandmother's history, that really came into play in the sequel!
The first book, the two main plots are figuring out who Sawyer's dad is, and dealing with the Senator (mainly through his daughter, of course!) While the second book deals with finding out what happened to the other child created because of a teenage pregnancy pact. It was all so great!
There are many twists and turns in these books! More in the second then the first, but that just makes it better! When Sawyer is invited by her grandmother to stay with them, go through the Debutante season and get money for college, well, it's also an opportunity to find out who her father is. Watching her go from very much not being a Debutante girl, to gaining the skills needed (without changing her personality) was so good to read!
I loved the relationships that she formed, with Lily, with Campbell, Sadie-Grace, and Nick, especially with her issues with love, because of how her mom was growing up. I loved watching as Lily had an identity crisis. As they went along with the White Gloves as they narrowed down who they wanted to replace them. As they found out the secrets held of the past and the present. It was all so good!
Absolutely loved reading these books again and I really need to read more Jennifer Lynn Barnes books!
