Week 33 Review: Pushing the Limits

From Goodreads:
No one knows what happened the night Echo Emerson went from popular girl with jock boyfriend to gossiped-about outsider with "freaky" scars on her arms. Even Echo can't remember the whole truth of that horrible night. All she knows is that she wants everything to go back to normal. But when Noah Hutchins, the smoking-hot, girl-using loner in the black leather jacket, explodes into her life with his tough attitude and surprising understanding, Echo's world shifts in ways she could never have imagined. They should have nothing in common. And with the secrets they both keep, being together is pretty much impossible.

Yet the crazy attraction between them refuses to go away. And Echo has to ask herself just how far they can push the limits and what she'll risk for the one guy who might teach her how to love again.

My Review:
I really enjoyed this book so much! It was such a breath of fresh air, a DAC book, and a NetGalley one, to book! These were really great characters, with a fantastic plot, and I just wanted to keep reading! I'm so glad that it's a series!

Echo has some issues. There was something that happened with her mom, but she doesn't remember. And her dad seems to prefer it that way. And yeah, whatever happened, left scars on her arm, in her mind, and on her heart.

Noah, on the other hand, knows what went wrong. His parents died, and since he wasn't old enough, he and his younger brothers were put in the system. His brothers got to stay together, but he was sent to a different place. But he wants to put his family as back together as it can be with his parents dead.

And then they come together, and it's a beautiful mess, as they work through all their issues, well, they make a pretty great start! They do have a lot of work to do, but they started that journey, and that's really all they can do, besides keep going until it's done!

I really enjoyed this book, it was really entertaining and I loved reading about Echo and Noah, now I can't wait for Beth's story!
