Well, this week was better! I got 23 books in 7 days, so much happy with that!
Ok, so this week I want to read Express Male, Promise, Exchange, Dragon Aster, Flame of Surrender, Where All The Dead Lie, and The Seraph Seal, with all of my nano books, and PDF's and such. The past 2 weeks have been prettys slow, so I have some catching up to do!
Currently Listening Too: No More by Three Days Grace
Currently Reading: Exchange
Currently Watching: CSI NY
Music teacher and part-time lingerie saleswoman Marnie Lundy's biggest thrill is playing piano at the local mall…until the night everyone seems to think she's somebody else!
Suddenly she's being addressed in code, menaced by a man who claims to know her intimately and rescued by a handsome spymaster who thinks she's a threat to national security!
But OPUS agent Noah Tennant has a feeling she's more Mata Hari than Mother Teresa. Could a woman this sexy truly be innocent, or is Marnie his opponent in a deadly game of spy vs. spy?
In her showdown with the murderous Pretender, a bullet taken at close range severed the connection between Taylor’s thoughts and speech. Effectively mute, there’s no telling if her voice will ever come back. Trapped in silence, she is surrounded by ghosts — of the past, of friendships and trusts lost — of the specter of a lost faith in herself and her motives that night.
When Memphis Highsmythe offers Taylor his home in the Scottish highlands to recuperate, her fiancĂ© John Baldwin can’t refuse her excitement, no matter his distrust of the man. At first, Memphis’s drafty and singularly romantic castle seems the perfect place for healing. But shortly the house itself surrounds her like a menacing presence. As Taylor’s sense of isolation and vulnerability grows, so, too, does her grip on reality.
PTSD. Pills. Ghosts. Grudges.
Someone or something is coming after Taylor. But is she being haunted by the dead...or hunted by the living?
Using the four horsemen of the Apocalypse to symbolize the four Gospels, four transcendentals, and four forces of the universe (air, water, earth, and fire), Sweet and Wagner weave a fast-paced, end-times tale of good vs. evil and the promise of a new dawn for humanity.
Set in 2048, when planet Earth is suffering from the damaging effects of years of misuse and abuse, cultural history professor Paul Binder receives a mysterious letter that leads him to examine a lost 2nd-century Diatessaron manuscript. Ancient prophecies, cryptic letters, and strange events set him on a course to uncover the missing clues that could lead humanity into a new age. Each character embodies elements of the four horsemen in a race to save the world from total destruction. Layered with forgotten symbolism from the ancient, Jewish, and Christian traditions, the novel is a type of engaged fiction in which the main character's lost journal serves as a guide to the reader in interpreting clues and understanding the novel's conclusion.
Both The Seraph Seal and Where All the Dead Lie look interesting! Enjoy!
