Week 13 Review: Rebel in the Deep

My Review:
I had a fantastic time reading this book! I've loved this series from the beginning, and I love their writing, and I was excited to read Nox, Siobhan and Bastian's story! I wanted to see how the council and their predatory, tainted version of the Cŵn Annwn were down!

Oh, but the relationships between all of 3 of them was so great to read! Nox and Bastian were loves over a decade ago, but that ended when Nox followed through with their plan, and Bastian didn't. Bastian and Siobhan have been together for years now, but recently had a fight right before he got captured. And Nox and Siobhan are friends, working for the rebellion, but the attraction is there. I thoroughly enjoyed their dynamics! 

The threat that they're against, the power, is clearly laid out in this book, when the rebellion is being threatened by having a pretty key figure getting captured, when they're not prepared for it. I was waiting with bated breath to figure out how they were finally going to win. 

Rescuing Bastien was just part of this book, then there was making a plan, and executing it. I loved how the myths of the Cŵn Annwn became a vital part of the story, and the history they have in Threshold. Watching as it played out was so thrilling, I really enjoyed how it ended out playing out and where we left these characters! 

Loved reading this book and I can't wait to read more by Katee Robert!
