Week 19 Review: No Judgments

From Goodreads:
The storm of the century is about to hit Little Bridge Island, Florida—and it's sending waves crashing through Sabrina "Bree" Beckham’s love life…

When a massive hurricane severs all power and cell service to Little Bridge Island—as well as its connection to the mainland—twenty-five-year-old Bree Beckham isn't worried . . . at first. She's already escaped one storm—her emotionally abusive ex—so a hurricane seems like it will be a piece of cake.

But animal-loving Bree does become alarmed when she realizes how many islanders have been cut off from their beloved pets. Now it's up to her to save as many of Little Bridge's cats and dogs as she can . . . but to do so, she's going to need help—help she has no choice but to accept from her boss's sexy nephew, Drew Hartwell, the Mermaid Café's most notorious heartbreaker.

But when Bree starts falling for Drew, just as Little Bridge's power is restored and her penitent ex shows up, she has to ask herself if her island fling was only a result of the stormy weather, or if it could last during clear skies too.

My Review:
I enjoyed reading this book so much! I wish I'd read Bridal Boot Camp first, since it's chronologically first, but I got this book, and I couldn't wait for Bridal Boot Camp to come out, I just had to read it, because Meg Cabot books are just so excellent!

Bree came to Little Bridge Island to get away from her life, from a series of events that rocked the foundations of her life and changed her, she had to regroup. But she'd never really been through a hurricane before and didn't really know what she was in for.

I really enjoyed her relationship with Drew,  it was tumultuous and really fun to read. I also enjoyed her relationships with the other islanders, like her boss's family and her neighbors. They had some quirks and were a lot of fun to read about!

Reading the synopsis, I wasn't sure how much of the book would be spent pre-hurricane, during the hurricane, and post hurricane. I kinda though during and post would have the most page time, but it was pre and post hurricane, with the time spent during the hurricane was over and done in less than a chapter.

This book was so very fantastic, and I couldn't mind another book set with the cast of characters again, they're a pretty lively bunch!
