When Alyson meets Graham Copeland, the new boy next door, she instantly feels like he's a kindred spirit—shy and awkward like her, someone who has trouble making friends. It's impossible to resist having a crush on him.
As usual, her sister, Sydney, sees things differently. In Sydney's mind, Graham's odd personality and secretive past scream psychopath, not sweetheart. Her gut is telling her to stay away from him, and to protect a love-struck Alyson from her own naïveté. But despite her instincts, Sydney is surprised to realize that a part of her is drawn to Graham, too.
And the more Sydney gets to know him, the more she realizes just how right—and wrong—she is about everything.
Perfect for fans of Michelle Hodkin, and E. Lockhart's We Were Liars, Twisted Fate is an unputdownable novel, teeming with suspense.
My Review:
This book was really interesting to read! It was weird and creepy, and we knew that there was something going on, because Alyson and Sydney seemed to see the same thing in different ways. So I guessed what was going on before I read the ending before I was halfway done the book. Yeah.
I enjoyed Sydney more then I did Alyson, because she seemed more of a person then a mix of cliché, but they both were, a bit. Sydney just broke them, so she was just a bit more interesting to read about!
This story always felt like there was something that they weren't telling us-not that it was missing from the story, but it was known to somebody, but was being deliberately withheld. And I guess that's true, because Sydney and Alyson didn't know they were the same person!
I really enjoyed the ending, that he got punished for what he'd done, and what he was doing, even if it went a little too far. But what I don't understand is the timing, that if Alyson was dead, how did Sydney go and erase all the stuff, and come back, if they're the same person? So confused!
This was a different and weird book, and I enjoyed reading it!
