First Lines Friday #673, April 5th

First Lines Friday is a bookish meme hosted by Literary Marie of Precision Reviews. We encourage all of our fellow book bloggers and bookhearts to play along.

-Grab your current read(s)
-Share the first line(s)
-Include the title and author so that other FLF participants can add the book to their TBR Lists!

"I lie in the grass with my eyes closed, listening for the whir of honeybee wings, but it's too early in the season for bees and I know it. I needed an excuse, I guess, something to say to get out of camp for a while, and the bees will be back soon, anyway. Before the next full moon comes, these wildflowers will be covered in bees and I'll be hunting for their hives. I'm just a little ahead of them."-Ivory and Bone by Julie Eshbaugh

That kinda sounds nice, but it has me worried about why she needs that excuse! Must reread more now! What about you guys? Happy reading!

I love comments, so comment away! I'll comment back if you leave a post-specific link for me to visit! If you leave that link, I'll always comment back, even if it's like, a month late!

This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!
