Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
•Grab your current read
•Open to a random page
•Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
•BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
•Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Today's teaser comes from The Dead Town by Dean Koontz, page 63.
"Her voice was strong and clear with intelligence and reason. Sh wasn't usurping Nancy's moment, but rather encouraging her; this was a you-go-girl shriek."
Well, that'd make me wonder why they're shrieking, but it mentions that throughout the chapter. But this is such a great book! Happy reading

I love comments, so comment away! I'll comment back if you leave a post-specific link for me to visit! If you leave that link, I'll always comment back, even if it's like, a month late!
This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!

I haven't read any of Koontz's books but this one seems quite appealing. ^^

I don't think I've heard of a "you-go-girl" shriek before either. I'd have to hear it to understand. I've never read any of Koontz work but I hear he is really talented and a lot of people like him. Great teaser. Happy reading!

ReplyDeleteHere's mine: Sandy's Teaser
OH, read them! They're amazing :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't either, but they are created creatures, after all :)
Yes, do so! So good :)
I know, but it's part of why the books are so good, they're strange and weird :)
Yep :) He has a great writing style of the books of his that I've read, and they're fast-paced thrillers, mysteries, like Tick Tock :)
Yep, it's really great :)
Thanks! Yeah! I love to share books :)
I know, me, too, and now it's done :(
They're shrieking about destroying things :)
Me too :)
And it's supportive of something that isn't exactly good. Oh, well, they aren't human (they were created in a tank to die after the mission is complete) so they don't count :)
It's a great book, hope you check it out!
