When you can see things others can't, what do you do when someone's watching you?
Everybody knows about Clarity "Clare" Fern. She's the psychic girl in school, the one who can place her hands on something and see hidden visions from the past.
Only Clare would rather not be a celebrity. She prefers hanging back, observing. Her gift is not a game to her.
But then someone starts playing with her head . . . and heart. Messages and gifts from a secret admirer crop up everywhere Clare turns. Could they be from Gabriel, the gorgeous boy who gets Clare's pulse racing? Or from Justin, Clare's hopeful ex-boyfriend who'd do anything to win her back?
One thing is certain. Clare needs to solve this mystery, and soon. Because the messages are becoming sinister, and a girl in town has suddenly disappeared.
My Review:
I enjoyed reading this sequel so much! It was so good, and entertaining, and I just wanted to know more! I mean, there's the mystery about her family, what with the warning about her dad at the end of Clarity, which makes me hopeful for a 3rd book that deals with that!
This book was different from Clarity. It kinda has to be, seeing as a) it's not Clarity, and b) it's a sequel. And yeah, the characters were different, changed from their experiences from Clarity, especially her brother, her brother was very different. But that's to be expected!
I just really enjoyed the mystery, of who was sending her those notes, and going around and kidnapping people, mostly for Clare's attention, yeah. And there's more romance, yeah! I just enjoyed that a lot!
Perception was a really fantastic book, a great sequel, and I really hope that we get at least a 3rd book! I want more!
