Week 28 Review: Born of Fury

From Goodreads:
The war is on…Counted among the fiercest Andarion warriors ever born, Hauk is one of the five founding members of the Sentella: an organization that has declared war on the League. They rule the Ichidian universe with an iron fist and terrify it with an army of well-trained assassins. Hauk's enemies are legion, but he fears nothing and no one. He will do whatever it takes to survive and protect his Sentella brethren. Sumi Antaxas is one of the best assassins the League has ever trained. In her world, failure is not an option and she has never met a target she couldn't execute. So when she's assigned Hauk, she believes it'll be a quick and easy mission. But nothing is ever as simple as it seems, and Hauk is far better skilled than any she's faced before, in Born of Fury from #1 Bestselling Author Sherrilyn Kenyon.

My Review:
I loved this book! It was totally worth the wait for it to be published, and plus, now we're going to be getting the next 2 books pretty close to one another, so there's that, and yeah, I really can't wait for that, because, yeah, more time in the League universe!

So much happens in this book, it was just so good! There was a bit of a mystery woven it, not that we knew it was a mystery until the last quarter or so, of what was going on with Dancer's oldest brother, and how he died while on Dancer's Endurance, and now he's taking out his brother's son on his Endurance, yeah, that's bring back old, horrible memories.

We learned a lot about the Andarion's culture, about their families, and how much honour and bloodlines mean to them, and how the mom is the ruler of the family, and she can banish members from it, and Dancer has 2 strikes now, and yet from the outside, the bad guys think that he's more protected them Nyk. Yeah.

I really enjoyed Sumi, because she's had it bad, from her dad, to her sister was married to Fain, which caused Fain to be banished because her and her sister were human, and then they divorced, even though Fain said he'd always be there for Sumi, and then when Sumi told her boyfriend she was pregnant, she had to kill him in self defence. So yeah, her and Dancer's relationship is difficult. But they worked through it, and they're going to have lots and lots of kids! I loved how Sumi and Fain were both adopted into the Andarion royal family by Nyk's mom, that was just awesome, loved it!

This was a fantastic book, and I can't wait for the next book, which is Fain's, I want his story!
