Week 28 Review: Deep Kiss of Winter

From Goodreads:
#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR KRESLEY COLE delivers a breathtaking tale of a brutal vampire soldier about to know love for the first time . . . and a Valkyrie aching for his touch.

Murdoch Wroth will stop at nothing to claim Daniela—the delicate Valkyrie who makes his heart beat for the first time in three hundred years. Yet the exquisite Danii is part ice fey, and her freezing skin can't be touched by anyone but her own kind without inflicting pain beyond measure. Can they conquer an agony of frustration and slake the overwhelming desire burning between them?

NEW YORK TIMES AND USA TODAY BESTSELLING AUTHOR GENA SHOWALTER puts a daring spin on a tale of huntress and hunted . . . and concocts a sensual chemistry that is positively explosive.

With only skin-to-skin contact, Aleaha Love can change her appearance, assume any identity. Now she's an AIR (alien investigation and removal) agent on a mission to capture a group of otherworldly warriors. Only she is held captive when dangerously seductive Breean, a golden-skinned, iron-willed commander, threatens her new life—and for the first time, Aleaha wants only to be herself.

My first review of Deep Kiss of Winter
My Review:
Oh, these were awesome stories! I didn't read the IAD story the first time, because I hadn't read the previous books, so yeah, now I have, so I got to read both series, and I'm so glad, because it was a really great book!

For both stories, it seems like, to have a novella, to them in these series, it's about 200 page less then the regular books in the series, so yeah, longer then most regular novellas, but yeah, these stories, they needed that time for it to fully unravel, so yeah, loved that, it was just a unique thing to point out!

Loved Danii's story, and that she's a Queen, that she had parts of her memory buried, but it's coming out now, and yeah, we got to see who Murdoch was going to bring that trinket to that Naomi stole, so yeah, that was a nice thing to see! Loved their relationship!

Then Breean and Aleaha's story, which I already read, and yeah, I really enjoyed being in their world again, how the Schon went after the Rakan planet and people, and how Breean's army is just about the only ones who survived. Yeah.

Loved these books, really enjoyed them, and now I must read more of each series!
