Ever since Domitian Argenis recognized Sarita as his life mate, he's been waiting for the perfect moment to claim her. Those fantasies did not include him being chained to a table in a secret lab or both of them being held hostage by a mad scientist. Somehow, they have to escape…
Sarita has seen some crazy things as a cop, but nothing to rival Domitian. A vampire? Seriously? But his healing ability, incredible powers, and their mind-blowing physical connection—none of it should be possible, yet her body knows differently. Now, not only do they have to save each other, but other innocent lives are at stake. Failure is not an option, for Sarita intends that Domitian show her exactly what an eternity of pleasure feels like…
My Review:
Yeah, another fantastic book in this series! So fantastic! We met Domitian's sister before, but yeah, it was great to get his and Sarita's story! Plus, this book deals a great deal with the current big threat-the doctor which is experiments!
So when the book started off, Domitian already knew that Sarita was his life mate. And I wondered how he did. Turns out that they met when she was very young! So he did the right thing, and left her alone to grow up, but keeping track of her.
It's kinda funny, that Domitian was a part of some of his sister's jobs. Like being a pirate. It was hilarious when I read it in her book, and it was awesome in this book! Just showing the close bonds that all these Atlanteans have with each other because they're all family!
They knew that they were being used. But the turned the tables on him! Unfortunately, he was a few steps ahead, so he got what he wanted. But he's in a worst off position, given he's a new immortal without money and no training and two councils after him! And the good guys are together and with their families, yeah!
Fantastic book, so incredible, and I can't wait for the next one!
