Week 28 Review: A Thousand Pieces of You

From Goodreads:
Every Day meets Cloud Atlas in this heart-racing, space- and time-bending, epic new trilogy from New York Times bestselling author Claudia Gray.

Marguerite Caine's physicist parents are known for their radical scientific achievements. Their most astonishing invention: the Firebird, which allows users to jump into parallel universes, some vastly altered from our own. But when Marguerite's father is murdered, the killer—her parent's handsome and enigmatic assistant Paul—escapes into another dimension before the law can touch him.

Marguerite can't let the man who destroyed her family go free, and she races after Paul through different universes, where their lives entangle in increasingly familiar ways. With each encounter she begins to question Paul's guilt—and her own heart. Soon she discovers the truth behind her father's death is more sinister than she ever could have imagined.

A Thousand Pieces of You explores a reality where we witness the countless other lives we might lead in an amazingly intricate multiverse, and ask whether, amid infinite possibilities, one love can endure.

My Review:
Oh, wow, this was a fantastic book! I absolutely enjoyed this book, and these characters, and the whole idea, of being able to go to all the different universes that you exist in. Yeah, that was just pretty, pretty awesome! Plus it's a murder mystery hunting down the guy who killed her dad and all.

I have to say, I absolutely loved the cover! It's just so pretty, I love the colours, and the picture, it's just so pretty, and I just love to look at it, it's like chocolate for my eyes, because these are the kinds of covers that I love, pretty, yet representing at least a part of what inside the covers, and yeah, this one fits the bill!

I loved all the different universes that Marguerite, Paul and Theo, travelled to, they had their differences, sometimes slight, sometimes pretty big, but they all had at least 2 of them! Some that I really liked, and some that I didn't, but that was because they weren't always good worlds!

That ending? With that twist? That was just fantastic, and in the end, I'm glad that she chose Paul, he was the one that she wanted to be with before the whole "she thought he killed her dad" thing, and now that that whole situation had been dealt with, yeah, they can be together, so yeah!

I loved this book so much, and I can't wait for it's 2 sequels!
