First Lines Friday is a bookish meme hosted by Literary Marie of Precision Reviews. We encourage all of our fellow book bloggers and bookhearts to play along.
-Grab your current read(s)
-Share the first line(s)
-Include the title and author so that other FLF participants can add the book to their TBR Lists!
"I remember vividly the night I died; the night I killed the Phantom. The scene was set. My coffin was center stage, haloed by a semicircle of lit candles in brass candelabras. Red bolts of silk draped artfully from floor to ceiling. The flickering candlelight's amber hue against the red created a somber mood. It was perfection." -Prince of Conjurers by Laurie L. Bolanos
Well, that's an opening! It's been a while since I listened to Phantom of the Opera (like 10 years) so the details are fuzzy, but this book has been really great! Can't wait to read more!
