The most combative—and tormented—of all the Ferals, Jag is a predator who hunts alone - until daemons terrorize the human population. To stop them, he partners with Olivia, a flame-haired Therian temptress as strong as she is beautiful. But Olivia is no ordinary immortal. The survivor of a vicious supernatural attack, she possesses a deadly and forbidden skill— one that must remain hidden, especially from the powerful Feral Warriors.
As Jag and Olivia's sensual dance of dominance and seduction gets wilder and hotter, a dark force sets its sights on Olivia, threatening to destroy everything she has vowed to protect. And the only one who can save her soul is the arrogant jaguar shifter she lusts for but dares not love.
My Review:
Yeah for this book! I only really started on the Feral Warriors series, when I saw this book at my library's book sale, and picked it up. And I'm glad I did, because I've been enjoying this series so much, so yeah, to have a physical copy, yeah, that was great!
Jag hasn't been the most likable character in the series, he was brash, and insulted almost everyone. But he has a reason-because he doesn't think he deserves them caring for him. Which was mentioned previously, but was explored in this book!
I really enjoyed Olivia, she has this secret, but she had to work with him, and she didn't let him put demands on her. He tried to alternate between pushing her away and pulling her closer, and I really enjoyed reading about their relationship!
Of course, with her abilities, that just made the ending and how everything came together, just all the better! Of course, there was also the setting up of Kougar's book, and a little bit of Wulfe's, I'm pretty sure, maybe a little bit! Can't wait to read them!
This book-this series-is just so fantastic, and I can't wait to read more!
