Teaser Tuesday #362, March 20th

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by Ambrosia of The Purple Booker. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Today's teaser comes from Monday Mourning by Kathy Reichs, page 66.

"Jean-Francois Authier, the chief coroner, considered all requests for exceptional expenditures, Few were granted."

Yeah, that could be good or bad depending on whether you want the expenditures to be approved or not! What about you guys? Happy reading!

    I've enjoyed other books by this author, but I haven't read this one. Thanks for posting about it.
