Scarred by Vengeance: Review

From Goodreads:
This is the mission: Save. Protect. Destroy.

Everything in Anastasia's world came crashing down when the one person she decided to trust failed her. On the run, now more than ever, she's trying to piece together the life she doesn't remember. With Blake still missing, she sends the rest of the family away, hoping to keep them out of danger. But being alone is a lot harder than it used to be and she blames herself for allowing Logan into her heart. He's gone now and she must let him go. Even though her perfect memory continues to play out the time they've spent together, much like a broken record.

But Anastasia has no time to dwell on the mistakes of yesterday; her mission isn't over. Kallos Enterprises continue their experiments, as the death rate goes up, and Anastasia has no choice but to fight. However, she's not as cold blooded as she used to be and that proves to be a problem when the people she cares about are once again put in danger. With her strength—and memory—failing and Blake's time running out, Anastasia must tap into parts of herself she never knew existed, hoping that in the end, it will be enough to save them all.

My Review:
Oh, this was a really fantastic book! Such a great sequel, just utterly fantastic to read! I enjoyed it so much, and I'm so glad that I got a chance to read it! It was so great to see most everyone again! And those that we didn't see, well, their absence was felt!

Anatasia has changed since the last book, she's had this family, and she's fallen in love, and she's been let down. So she's different, the mission hasn't changed. She still needs to take down Kallos Enterprises!

It was really fantastic to watch her on this journey, as things get harder and harder, that she draws on her inner strength, and perseveres! And the fact that she was alone, just puts it all the more on her, and makes what she does mean all the more!

This is the second book. And there's going to be a third book. And this book, from beginning, middle, and end, reflected that, though it might've been hard to know about some of that from just reading this, there were bits from the first book, and an ending for a 3rd book!

So fantastic to read this book, it was so utterly good, really enjoyed reading it!
