Book Blogger Hop #22, March 9th

The Book Blogger Hop was originally created by Jennifer from Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and ended on December 31, 2012. With Jennifer's permission, I relaunched the meme on February 15, 2013. Check out the hop here

Each week the hop will start on a Friday and end on Thursday. There will be a weekly prompt featuring a book related question. The hop's purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.

The Question of the week is: Do you enjoy reading retellings of, or 'sequels' to, classic novels? Why or why not? (submitted by Maria @ A Night's Dream of Books)

Yeah. I like retellings, they're enjoyable, so I don't really care if they're classic novels or not. What about you guys? Happy reading!

  1. I haven't had much luck with classic retellings though I haven't read that many. I do love a good fairy tale retelling though.

  3. I love fairy tale retellings as well! My favorite are Beauty by McKinley and Cinder by Meyer. As for classic retellings, I loved Lost Boy: The True Story of Captain Hook by Henry. A dark retelling of Peter Pan? Yes Please!

    I'm a new GFC and G+ follower!

    1. Ah. If you want to, I hope you are able to read some, because they can be really awesome! One that I recently read was Heartstone by Elle Katherine White, which is a retelling of Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen, but it a totally creative world! I loved it! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

I love comments, so comment away! I'll comment back if you leave a post-specific link for me to visit! If you leave that link, I'll always comment back, even if it's like, a month late!

This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!
