Week 25 Review: Sex and the Single Vampire

From Goodreads:
An undying classic from Katie MacAlister, Sex and the Single Vampire is a paranormal romance lover's delight, ideal for fans of Lynsay Sands and her Argeneau vampire family novels. This perennial New York Times bestselling author knows what readers are hungry for: sexy and funny tales of otherworldly passion featuring hot, dark, immortal alpha heroes searching for their happily forever afters.

In Sex and the Single Vampire, MacAlister's Dark One is an arrogant, studly romance novelist whom struggling "summoner" Alie mistakes for a specter…and recognizes as the fantasy man who has lately been invading her dreams!

My Review:
This book was a lot of fun to read! I'm glad that Christian got a happy ending, after the first book, I wanted to see him happy, so yeah, I'm glad that he got his own story. I really enjoyed him and Alie together, they don't seem to work, but they do!

This book was really great, we got to dive more into this world, to see how the whole process of Beloveds worked, because even though we've been told about it, yeah, that's not quite the same! And there was the gifts that Alie had, and demons and such! Yeah, lots of world-building and I know we're going to get more!

We did get to see some of the characters from the previous book, Joy and Raphael, and yeah, they did have a role to play, between Joy wanting to find Christian his true Beloved and all. They were a ton of fun, and I just loved that!

That ending was pretty spectacular! Alie had to be smart to face up against multiple bad guys, but she made it out with Christian and with them together and the whole Beloved process all complete. It made for an awesome ending that I loved reading!

Yeah, really enjoyed reading this series, and I can't wait to read more of it!
