First Lines Friday #8, September 2nd

First Lines Friday is a bookish meme hosted by Literary Marie of Precision Reviews. We encourage all of our fellow book bloggers and bookhearts to play along.

-Grab your current read(s)
-Share the first line(s)
-Include the title and author so that other FLF participants can add the book to their TBR Lists

"When I was seventeen, my life changed forever. I know that there are people who wonder about me when I say this. They look at me strangely as if trying to fathom what could have happened back then, though I seldom bother to explain. Because I've lived her for most of my life, I don't feel that I have to unless it's on my terms, and that would take more time than most people are willing to give me." -A Walk to Remember by Nicholas Sparks
"The sensation of being watched clung to me like a spider web, invisible threads bristling the back of my neck and down my spine. I brushed my fingers across my shoulders, as if I could drag the feeling off and flick it away." -Promsie by Kristie Cook
"I'd always welcomed war, but in battle my passion rose unbidden. The bear's roar filled my ears. Its hot breath assaulted my nostrils, fuelling my bloodlust. Behind me I could hear the boy's ragged gasp. The desperate sound made my nails dig into the earth." -Nightshade by Andrea Cremer

These books are really fantastic to read! Happy reading!

  2. Yes he is, even if this was his first book that I'd read, but I've seen 3 movies! And thanks :) I finished them all yesterday, and reviews are up :)

I love comments, so comment away! I'll comment back if you leave a post-specific link for me to visit! If you leave that link, I'll always comment back, even if it's like, a month late!

This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!
