My Review:
Can I list all the ways that I loved this book? I don't think I can, but I'll try, but I know I'll run out of words, but I know I will try, because I am now! It had so many good things, and yeah, it was just so freaking good! It's definitely going on my favourite book list!
I loved the characters. Nyx, Ignifex, Ignifex's shadow. They were good or bad, or mixed, or a blend, with a myriad of motives, Nyx wanting to free her country from Ignifex, Ignifex was a mystery, though he's had a few wives, they've died, and then his shadow, well, he seems to want the same thing as Nyx, but does he? There were so many mysteries!!!
I loved the writing! So beautiful, descriptive when needed, and complex, and wonderful, with such wonderful conflicts that just had to be read, a world that we need to be in more, to learn more about, the above amazing characters, and so much more!!
I loved the middle, end, and beginning. The middle, because things happen in it, she develops feelings for both Max and Ignifex, and discovers the elements, and I loved the end, because it was happy, different, and brought everything together so well, and the beginning, because it was introduction, so well, and creepy, and captivating!
Yeah, I really loved this book, and I hope there's going to be another book besides Gilded Ashes!!!
