Week 29 Review: The Queen

From Goodreads:
From #1 New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout comes the next installment in her Wicked series.

The King must have his Queen....

Bestowed the forbidden Summer's Kiss by the King of the Summer fae, Brighton Jussier is no longer just human. What she is, what she will become, no one knows for sure, but that isn't her biggest concern at the moment. Now Caden, the King, refuses to let her go, even at the cost of his Court. When the doorway to the Otherworld is breached, both Brighton and Caden must do the unthinkable—not just to survive themselves, but also to save mankind from the evil that threatens the world.

My Review:
I had a great time reading this book. After that ending of the previous novella, I was just dying to see how it would all play out. And it was just fantastic reading it, I loved going on this journey with Brighton and Caden!

Most of the time reading this book, I was wondering who know what. When all the pieces were put together, well, Brighton and Caden could get together. But because not everybody knew everything, Brighton didn't want to go through with it, though Caden didn't care for the traditions. But if they'd known, then, as it did when they found out, well, they can be together!

Brighton has a lot of deal with in this book. From the torture in the previous book, to the end of the last book's reveal about her being pregnant, to the above relationship drama, there's a lot on her emotional plate. Loved watching her deal with it all!

This was such a great end to this series! Though I would love to have more stories in this world, honestly, because there is still that threat to be faced. I mean, the couples that we've followed would've been the ones to face her, but they prevented her from coming over. So I would love to see her defeated, just not sure who would do that!

Yeah, I had a great time reading this book, it was another excellent Jennifer L. Armentrout story!
