Week 33 Review: Dreams of a Dark Warrior

From Goodreads:
From #1 New York Times bestseller Kresley Cole comes this gripping tale of a battle-maddenend warrior driven by revenge and the Valkyrie temptress who haunts his dreams.

He Vowed He'd Come For Her...

Murdered before he could wed Regin the Radiant, warlord Aidan the Fierce seeks his beloved through eternity, reborn again and again into new identities, yet with no memory of his past lives.

She Awaits His Return...

When Regin encounters Declan Chase, a brutal Celtic soldier, she recognizes her proud warlord reincarnated. But Declan takes her captive, intending retribution against all immortals—unaware that he belongs to their world.

To Sate A Desire More Powerful Than Death...

Yet every reincarnation comes with a price, for Aidan is doomed to die when he remembers his past. To save herself from Declan’s torments, will Regin rekindle memories of the passion they once shared—even if it means once again losing the only man she could ever love?

My Review:
I'll be honest, I went into this book expecting to hate Declan, because of how Demon from the Dark went, but yeah, it was more like Dark Desires After Dusk, with a hero who's done some pretty bad things, but is still a pretty good guy still, and has a reason for what he did.

So yeah, it was awesome to read this book, because so much happens, like we learn about Regin, and Aidan and his lives after, and then meeting Regin again in them again. And shortly after kissing her for the first time, and fully gaining Aidan's memories, dies.

Yeah, this book was also hilarious, what with the bat that Nix had, and the message that she sent Declan, with  all the conversation that Nix usually gives, with distractions, and forgetfulness, it was just so funny! and yeah, we also get to see a bit of the weight that Nix carries, actions that impact others, and others, to the point where millions of people are involved. Or when Lothaire was instructing Declan on how to win back Regin-and it works. That was hilarious!

I really enjoyed how it resolved, that Declan was stronger then Aidan, so he was the one that was staying, and how Lothaire has a favour from Declan, and is looking for the ring, and we know a bit more why, and how, he's doing what he's doing, Endgame tells him what to do, and he does it for his Bride, I'm pretty sure!

Loved this book, and I can't wait to read Lothaire's book!
