This suspenseful debut follows a group of teenage misfits in their delicious quest for revenge on those who have wronged them at their high school. When a mysterious note appears in Charlotte's mailbox inviting her to join the League of Strays, she's hopeful it will lead to making friends. What she discovers is a motley crew of loners and an alluring, manipulative ringleader named Kade. Kade convinces the group that they need one another both for friendship and to get back at the classmates and teachers who have betrayed them. But Kade has a bigger agenda. In addition to vandalizing their school and causing fights between other students, Kade's real intention is a dangerous plot that will threaten lives and force Charlotte to choose between her loyalty to the League and her own conscience.
My Review:
This was a really fantastic book! And from the way it was formatted, it seemed that it was going to be slower, but then the pages just passed so fast, and so quickly, that I wanted so much more book then what we got! it was so great and entertaining!
So yeah, if the league of strays didn't have the purpose that it turned out to have, well, it would've been really great. Because those that would be a part of this group, well, they need something like this, though not what the got!
So what Kade got the group to do, well, that was kinda scary, that one person could have that much control over people. That they would those things, well, yeah, not a good thought to think! But they get out from under him, which is good!
I just loved the writing, that would have this situation, and have me want to know more. Where I knew it was wrong, and hoping that it would get better, and reading it, hoping to get there, and the journey it took when it finally got there! So great!
This was a really fantastic book, and I just enjoyed it so much, and I'm so glad that I got to read it earlier!
