Week 33 Review: The Lost Prince

From Goodreads:
Don't look at Them. Never let Them know you can see Them.

That is Ethan Chase’s unbreakable rule. Until the fey he avoids at all costs—including his reputation—begin to disappear, and Ethan is attacked. Now he must change the rules to protect his family. To save a girl he never thought he's dare to fall for.

Ethan thought he had protected himself from his older sister's world—the land of Faery. His previous time in the Iron Realm left him with nothing but fear and disgust for the world Meghan Chase has made her home, a land of myths and talking cats, of magic and seductive enemies. But when destiny comes for Ethan, there is no escape from a danger long, long forgotten.

My name is Ethan Chase. And I may not live to see my eighteenth birthday.

My Review:
Oh, man, this was a really great book! Ethan's grown up since the boy who got kidnapped by the Iron King. So yeah, that was really great! And that he's getting his own adventures-not someone to save, but someone to do the saving-that was a great change!

His life, well, yeah, it's different. What with the different ways to keep the fey away-which also includes Meghan, since she hasn't tried to contact them-it makes him something of an outsider. But then there's Kenzie, who he's drawn to!

I really enjoyed being with some of these characters again, we get to see Meghan, Ash, and Puck briefly, but the one that Ethan and Kenzie spend the most time with is Keirran, Meghan and Ash's son. Who is older then Ethan. Yeah, fey stuff is weird!

And then the ones that are kidnapping the half fey, the bad guys? That they're the forgotten, those that Ash encountered on his journey in The Iron Knight, well yeah. So that was a really great, interesting end, though I'm concerned for Keirran!

Such a great book, now I have to read The Iron Fey 4.5, because I think that's going to have a major bearing on this series!
