A summer in New Orleans is exactly what Allie needs before starting college. Accepting her dad's invitation to work at his hotel offers an escape from her ex-boyfriend and the chance to spend the summer with her best friend. Meeting a guy is the last thing on her mind—until she sees Levi.

My Review:
This was a really fantastic book! I really enjoyed reading it, it just sucked me in, and when ending came, I was like, no, there has to be more pages, it can't just end there, I haven't read all of the 230 or so pages yet, there has to be more!!! But there wasn't, and now I have to wait for book 2, Focus, which doesn't come out until December! That was how freaking good this book was!!!
The cover, which is very, very pretty and ethereal, well, it's part of a scene that leads to something that's pretty pivotal in the plot, and that moment of recognization of that for me, well, that was a lot of fun, keeping me well into the world that Alyssa Rose Ivy has developed in this world, because what happened right after, well, it led to what happens next, all the bad stuff, and the maybe good stuff if the characters weren't stubborn. And yeah, I really loved that!
The romance between these 2, everybody by Allie could see it, that they would "work" as both her best friend and her mom tell her. She fights him on almost every step, challenging his cheesy/player lines, and that interaction was hilarious, and just great to read, really great writing!
And then we get to the end, where things aren't looking too good, and that last line, well, it was breaking my heart, even though I knew there was going to be a second book at least, and that things would change, and I can only hope that it changes for the better and not for the worse!
This was just a fantastic book, really enjoyable, and really, really, really good! I hope you guys check out the giveaway below so you have a chance to read it, because, believe me, it's fantastic!!
