If fate sent you an email, would you answer?
When teenage movie star Graham Larkin accidentally sends small town girl Ellie O'Neill an email about his pet pig, the two seventeen-year-olds strike up a witty and unforgettable correspondence, discussing everything under the sun, except for their names or backgrounds.
Then Graham finds out that Ellie's Maine hometown is the perfect location for his latest film, and he decides to take their relationship from online to in-person. But can a star as famous as Graham really start a relationship with an ordinary girl like Ellie? And why does Ellie want to avoid the media's spotlight at all costs?
My Review:
This was a really cute and sweet book! I enjoyed her first novel, and this one, it was just as cute and sweet and funny as The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight! So yeah, that was really fantastic!
That they started corresponding because Graham accidentally sent an email about his pet pig to Ellie, was just so cute! I enjoyed that so much, so cute and funny, and I just really enjoyed it! And it built them into a really great relationship!
Then Graham has a chance to come meet her in suggesting her town as the place to film. Which leads to a few complications. Like, she doesn't want the publicity of being with him. For a reason, that we finally find out, of who her dad is-and his family that isn't Ellie or her mom. Yeah.
This book was light and fun, but it also had the dark sides of fame. So it had the good and the bad, and it felt real to me! And the ending, that just took it all in, because boy, was it really sweet, and open, which maybe it'll be a series!
Yeah, this was a fantastic book, and I can't wait for more Jennifer E. Smith books!
