My Review:
I am so glad that I had a chance to read this book, because oh, man, it was a really fantastic book! I'm glad that I read it so soon after reading book 2, seeing as I just read so many books, and the bigger the gap between reading books in a series, the lesser chance that I'll remember details!
This books takes place just after the end of summer, going back to school, and all the things that accompany a new school year-plus a special, non-discloser agreement signing case for the Dream Team! So awesome!
I loved how things came together! Of course there's the background threat of Marrow, but then there were other things going on, and the clues that came together, like the line about the blood of 12 from the last book. And who the bad guy was! Or girl. Not sure how to talk about it, but it delves a bit into the darker history of magickind!
There could've been a 4th book. Both in that things are left open for more adventures, and that I read something, where the author stated that she was thinking of 4 books, but then she decided to wrap the series up here. And while it sucks we won't have more time in this world, well, I said open, but the open that is because of the past/current issues were dealt with!
I would love a spin off series, anything from what the war was all about, since it's kinda connected to the bad person on this book, and if I remember the first book correctly, the will sword also known as the sword masquerading as a bracelet on Dusty's arm. Or basically anything, because this is a pretty spectacular world to be in!
Fantastic book, and yeah, I can't wait to read more books by Mindee Arnett! They're so enjoyable and great!
