Unleashing your inner tigress isn't easy when you're a doormat by nature Still, after escaping a wretched marriage to a cheating SOB, Dallas party planner Naomi Delacroix isn't about to let another man sweet-talk her into sheathing her protective claws. Not even hunky millionaire Royce Powell, who's hired her to arrange his mother's surprise party. Even if he does make her purr like a kitten with one heated glance... Royce claims he's been in love with her ever since she threw a party for one of his friends six months ago. But if that's true, why is this incredibly eligible CEO currently taking applications for a wife? Despite herself, Naomi is tempted to fill one out. But can her inner tigress believe a man might change his stripes?
My first review of Animal Instincts
My Review:
I loved rereading this book so much! It was just so good, entertaining, and loveable! I mean, come on! A case of rich guy trying to get the lady he's fallen in love with, to fall in love with him? That just screams hilarity!
I loved their banter, it was hilarious, and went on strange tangents, but their verbal sparring just proved that they should really be together, because if you didn't have some fights, then something must be wrong with the relationship-after all, we're only human!
Her cousins were just awesome! I loved the visits that they had with Naomi, and how they encourage her to stretch her limits, and all the weird and wacky things that happen to and with them! It was just so great!
And that ending! Where he kept the wedding stuff there for her, 3 hours after it was supposed to happen, in the hopes that she'd come back! It was so romantic and sweet, and yeah, it's a good thing that she came back!
Animal Instincts is just a book that if you like contemporary romance, then this book is for you!
