Week 41 Reviews: Crimson Twilight, May Day!, The Cursed

From Goodreads:
It's a happy time for Sloan Trent and Jane Everett. What could be happier than the event of their wedding? Their Krewe friends will all be there, and the event will take place in a medieval castle transported brick by brick to the New England coast. Everyone is festive and thrilled . . . until the priest turns up dead just hours before the nuptials.

Jane and Sloan must find the truth behind the man and the murder—the secrets of the living and the dead—before they find themselves bound for eternity—not in wedded bliss but in the darkness of an historical wrong and their own brutal deaths.

From Goodreads:
Members of the Krewe of Hunters team plan a relaxing vacation to jolly old London for the English celebration--they never figured that a May Pole just might be murder.

From Goodreads:
A haunted house in Key West

Hannah O'Brien, who grew up in the house and now runs it as a B and B, has always had a special ability to see a pair of resident ghosts. But when a man is murdered in the alley behind her place, she's dismayed when his spirit appears, too, asking for help.

FBI agent Dallas Samson has a passionate interest in the murder, since the victim's a colleague whose death is connected to the smuggling ring known as Los Lobos—the wolves. Now Dallas is even more committed to chasing them down….

Unaware that Dallas has certain abilities of his own, Hannah calls her cousin Kelsey O'Brien, a member of the FBI's Krewe of Hunters, an elite unit of paranormal investigators. The present-day case is linked to a historical mystery involving salvagers, a curse and a sunken ship. Danger and desire bring Hannah and Dallas together, but to survive, they have to solve the mysteries of the past—and stay alive long enough to solve the crimes of the present!

My Review:
I enjoyed reading these stories! This series has been so fantastic, and to have two short stories to spend some more time with established couples, and then having a full length novel with a new couple, was just excellent!

One really big reason that I love Heather Graham's books-and this series in particular-is how well the combination of ghosts, history, romance and mystery all come together. There's nothing quite like a great satisfying read, and this combination is satisfying every time!

I enjoyed The Cursed, it was different from the other books, because they knew that it was a gang behind everything-multiple people, with individuals carrying out acts. So yeah, that was really awesome to read!

The Cursed introduced some new characters, like Hannah, Kelsey's cousin. It also mentioned a couple that I think might have had a stand alone story, because their backstory, sounds pretty interesting and well fleshed-out!

Loved these stories and how things worked out, and I can't wait to read more!
