Week 40 Review: Lost Voices

From Goodreads:
When fourteen-year-old Luce is assaulted on the cliffs near an Alaskan village, she expects to die when she tumbles into the icy water below. Instead, she transforms into a mermaid. Luce is thrilled with her new life—until she discovers the catch.

My Review:
This was a really sad, emotional book. What with the idea behind the creation of a mermaid and what mermaids were supposed to do, and what happened to Luce, well, sad. But there were really good parts, too!

I really liked the plot, and the turning of friends. Just how it worked out, it had a bittersweet ending, but it was really good, and pretty hopeful, if alone.

Luce's powers, I really liked them, they were really great, and they really meant a lot to the plot, and to her, and what happened, I just really liked it!

This was a really excellent book, and I hope you guys check it out!
