Week 23 Review: Silent Truth

From Goodreads:
In the sizzling new adventure from New York Times bestselling authors Sherrilyn Kenyon and Dianna Love, a red-hot BAD boy teams up with a sexy television reporter on an explosive quest for revenge.

Tough-as-nails Bureau of American Defense agent Hunter Thornton-Payne is no stranger to uncomfortable top-secret missions, but tonight takes the cake. He just needs to stick out a stuffy charity fund-raiser long enough to find the ruthless assassin he's hunted for four years. It's a rogue operation, but Hunter's got nothing to lose - until a beautiful brunette unexpectedly pulls him into her own dangerous agenda.

Abbie Blanton will do anything to cure her mother's mysterious illness. When a high-profile heiress is murdered as Abbie tries to blackmail her for clues, Abbie realizes she's stumbled into an unforgiving conspiracy - and she's the next target. Soon, she and Hunter discover an alarming connection and begin a treacherous battle against an evil enterprise that someone will go to terrifying lengths to keep hidden.

My Review:
This was such a great book! I utterly loved it, and rereading it, because I had totally forgotten what had happened in this book, and yeah, it was just so good! I had thought that there was a different bad guy then the Fratelli, but there wasn't, but they only thwarted them, BAD didn't take them down, which seeing as there isn't any full length book after this one as of yet...Yeah.

I loved the romance, between Hunter and Abbie, and how she sees past his mask, and into the real person inside, and yeah, how while they loved each other, it was still a matter of trust, did he trust her, and in the end, like, the last 3 or so pages, he did prove that, and yeah, that was just so sweet!

I wondered if the spy, Linette would be caught or not, if she would get out or not, and while neither happens, she did get rid of a guy who was more then a problem for her! And this is is another reason (beyond the whole, they haven't taken down the Fratelli yet) that I want more books! Because this didn't end with her free!

And Korbin! I felt so bad for Rae, because they seemed to have something of a relationship, and then he died saving people's lives, and that had to be hard, just losing him! But we got to see Nathan, because he helped out in the whole save people, being there while Korbin was disabling those bombs.

I absolutely loved this book, and I really hope that there's going to be more!!
