OK, so I got 21 posts in 7 days, I've just about finished watching the Harry Potter novels with my cousins, just the final one on Friday! So excited! What about you guys? Happy reading!

So this week I want to read Before We Were Strangers, From the Earth to the Shadows, and Inferno.

Something happened to her mother that night. Something no one wants to talk about. But she's determined to uncover her family's dark secrets, even if they bury her.

Five-year-old Sloane McBride couldn't sleep that night. Her parents were arguing again, their harsh words heating the cool autumn air. And then there was that other sound—the ominous thump before all went quiet.

In the morning, her mother was gone.

The official story was that she left. Her loving, devoted mother! That hadn't sat any better at the time than it did when Sloane moved out at eighteen, anxious to leave her small Texas hometown in search of anywhere else. But not even a fresh start working as a model in New York could keep the nightmares at bay. Or her fears that the domineering father she grew up with wasn't just difficult—he was deadly.

Now another traumatic loss forces Sloane to realize she owes it to her mother to find out the truth, even if it means returning to a small town full of secrets and lies, a jilted ex-boyfriend and a father and brother who'd rather see her silenced. But as Sloane starts digging into the past, the question isn't whether she can uncover what really happened that night…it's what will remain of her family if she does?
Malin's mission to avenge her mother's murder has uncovered dangerous secrets. As a Valkyrie-in-training, Malin must slay immortals who've had their time, to maintain balance between humans and immortals. But her quest could destroy earth's stability – and unleash chaos.

Just when she needs to focus, her friend Asher is in grave danger. He's been dragged into the underworld, where vengeful immortals plot revolution. Malin believes her feelings mustn't distract from her goal – but is desperate to rescue him. So she ventures into the darkest of realms, knowing she may not survive. With new allies at her side and new enemies ahead, Malin will face terrible choices. She'll have to keep her head – or be ruled by her heart.
From the New York Times, USA TODAY and international bestselling author of The Iron Fey and the Blood of Eden series comes the fiery, hugely anticipated finale of The Talon Saga…

INFERNO

What if dragons walked among us in human form? Enter a modern fantasy of heroes, sacrifice, forbidden love and enemies turned allies who have no choice but to fight side by side… Don't miss the epic conclusion as Ember, Riley and Garrett face off against Dante and the Talon dragon clones. Join them…or burn.

  1. I'm currently listening to the Talon series and can't wait for Inferno, I've just started Legion and have been enjoying it so much! I struggle with some audio books and the narrator's.
