The newest member of the elite Feral Warriors brotherhood, Fox is eager to prove himself on the frontlines of battle against the Daemons. When paired with the legendary Ilina warrior, Melisande, he expects the fierce beauty to quickly fall under the spell of his quite considerable charm. Instead, he finds himself spellbound by a woman who's his match in every way.
Beneath Melisande's brittle exterior lies centuries of pain and a violent hatred of all shape-shifters—a hatred that slowly crumbles after they're caught in a deadly and cunning Mage trap and she glimpses a surprising depth in her far-too-seductive partner. Their survival demands unconditional trust—and their salvation surrender to a wild, untamed love.
Yeah! It was so great to read this book! Melisande has been in Hearts Untamed, and Hunger Untamed, or at least, these are the two books where her actions had the biggest impact, besides this one. And yeah, that's part of the reason why reading this book was so fantastic!
Fox is a new character to the series-I believe he was mentioned in Rapture Untamed, since he was Kieran, a friend of Olivia. As well as Ecstasy Untamed, when he became Fox. And this was his story, and I enjoyed getting to know him!
This book deals with finding Kara after she was kidnapped, as well as some revelations about Wulfe, who is getting the next book. Oh, and then there was Grizz and Lepord trying to find a way to figure out a way to know if the marked was the best or the worst of the animal's line. Yeah. Lots!
The next book is the last that is currently published. And things were gearing up for a big ending, which is good, since there hasn't been another book published in a while, so the next book's ending is probably going to be a really big one! And I can't wait to read it!
Loved this book, it was so great, and I can't wait to read more!
