Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
•Grab your current read
•Open to a random page
•Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
•BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others!)
•Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
Today's teaser comes from Angel Burn by L.A. Weatherly, page 49.
"The high school (The Pawntucket Bears know how to ROAR! proclaimed the sign) was practically the largest building in the place. And once the students graduated, they'd probably hit the ground running and never look back, thought Alex dryly."
Yeah, small town kids tend to do that! What about you guys? Happy reading!

I love comments, so comment away! I'll comment back if you leave a post-specific link for me to visit! If you leave that link, I'll always comment back, even if it's like, a month late!
This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!

Hmm, interesting teaser! Haven't heard much about this book, so that makes me intrigued.
ReplyDeleteCheck out my Teaser
Thanks! And the 3rd and last book in the series came out late last year, I think :) Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!
DeleteThe book's title and cover intrigue me. I'm wondering what Angel Burn has to do with a small-town high school.
ReplyDeleteMy Tuesday post features SAVING SHELBY SUMMERS.
Well, he travels a lot, and he's commenting on the town :) Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!
DeleteLovely cover art. I've not heard of this author before. It's funny how young people tend to flee small towns as soon as they can, then they get older and go looking for one again:)
