Teaser Tuesday #191, December 9th

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
•Grab your current read
•Open to a random page
•Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
•BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn't give too much away! You don't want to ruin the book for others!)
•Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Today's teaser comes from The Undead Pool by Kim Harrison, page 128.

"You'd be surprised at the amount of sensitive information insurance companies gather, Ellie. If David says there might be a connection, then it's worth giving more than a little consideration."

Take that, Ellasbeth! And go, Trent!

What about you guys? Happy reading!

  1. Oh, yeah. Insurance companies are downright scary when it comes to gathering info, especially if there's a claim involved. Intriguing teaser!

    My TT is here.

    1. I also want to say, go, David! Though I have no personal experience with insurance companies beyond watching The Incredibles! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

  2. I'm curious about how the book's title relates to insurance company records! Good teaser.

  3. This sounds familiar. I'll check my list, but I think I've read this one. Terrible aren't I? Read so many books I can't remember all of them!

    1. Oh, I'm the same! I'm trying to get all my 2011 and 2012 reviews written, and some of these books, I don't remember at all! The Undead Pool is the one where Rachel and Trent FINALLY get together! Thanks for stopping by! Happy reading!

I love comments, so comment away! I'll comment back if you leave a post-specific link for me to visit! If you leave that link, I'll always comment back, even if it's like, a month late!

This is an award free blog! Thanks for thinking of me but I just don't have the time to pass it along!
