Teaser Tuesday #259, March 29th

Teaser Tuesday is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Books and a Beat. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:

Today's teaser comes from Archangel's Shadows by Nalini Singh, page 192.

"However, when Carl opening the door after his polite knock received a 'Come in,' from the other side, the modifications weren't immediately apparent. One of the myriad reasons why Banli House was so expensive."
