Twenty-Nine and a Half Reasons: Review

From Goodreads:
When Rose reports for Fenton County jury duty she figures she's lucky to get out of a morning working at the DMV. Instead, despite a disastrous encounter with the new assistant district attorney, Mason Deveraux, she's picked as a juror on a murder case. As the trial progresses, she realizes an ominous vision she had in the men's restroom proves the defendant is innocent. And there's not a cotton picking thing she can do about it.

Or is there?

As if things weren't bad enough, Rose’s older sister Violet is going through a mid-life crisis. Violet insists that Rose stop seeing her sexy new boyfriend, Arkansas state detective Joe Simmons and date other men. Rose is done letting people boss her around, but she can’t commit to Joe either. Still, Rose isn't about to let the best thing in her life slip away.

My Review:
This was a fantastic book, very funny, all the things that Rose gets into, and her day with having to start jury duty, well, that was hilarious, from the needing quarters and getting a ticket, breaking a shoe strap, having to put said shoes on to get past the security, and then it gets scary with a killer, but yeah, this was a great book!

I mean, it wasn't the best to come into this book having not read the first one, but there was enough that I was able to slide into this book pretty well. And with how much this book sucked me in, well, the pages were flying and done pretty darned quickly!

There was a lot of emotional trauma in this book. I mean, there's the whole power, and what she can use it for. And then there's dealing with all that was revealed in the past book, and then what was learned in this book!

Between Joe and Mason, there were some pretty great guys in this book! I can't wait to see where it's going to go, because it was a lot of fun reading this book! Just hilarious, and narrated so well, I want to read other books in this series!

Really fantastic book, entertaining and great, I want to read more!
