Bride McTierney has had it with men. They're cheap, self-centered, and never love her for who she is. But though she prides herself on being independent, deep down she still yearns for a knight in shining armor.
She just never expected her knight in shining armor to have a shiny coat of fur...
Deadly and tortured, Vane Kattalakis isn't what he seems. Most women lament that their boyfriends are dogs. In Bride's case, hers is a wolf. A Were-Hunter wolf. Wanted dead by his enemies, Vane isn't looking for a mate. But the Fates have marked Bride as his. Now he has three weeks to either convince Bride that the supernatural is real or he will spend the rest of his life neutered--something no self-respecting wolf can accept...
But how does a wolf convince a human to trust him with her life when his enemies are out to end his? In the world of the Were-Hunters, it really is dog-eat-dog. And only one alpha male can win.
My Review:
I just really enjoyed reading this book so much! So hilarious, and I could really connect to Bride, she's really the only heroine that's in the plus sizes, so she's someone that I can relate to! Plus it's the first full length Were-Hunter book!
So Bride and Vane were a really great couple, I loved how he had to switch between wolf and man because he'd introduced both sides of himself to her separately, and had to go back and forth, that was really cute!
Two of the best parts, are when she and Vane are on the date, and her ex shows up, and the scene that ensued there! And the other, when Vane was being introduced to Bride's family, who are mainly vets, and are in the know about the were world, and were making suggestions of neutering. So cute!
This book, it also gives us an outside look of Valerius, the first one, since she's being brought into this world, and everybody else he had interacted previous with in the books were in the know. And his POV in Night Embrace doesn't count, seeing as he is not outside himself!
Such a fantastic book, I enjoyed it so much, and I can't wait to reread more!
