Week 3 Reviews: That's Forever, Stay With Me, Fall With Me, Dream Of You, Forever With You

Cam and Avery Bonus Scene.
The Proposal from Avery's POV.

From Goodreads:
At 21, Calla hasn't done a lot of things. She's never been kissed, never seen the ocean, never gone to an amusement park. But growing up, she witnessed some things no child ever should. She still carries the physical and emotional scars of living with a strung-out mother, Mona—secrets she keeps from everyone, including her close circle of college friends.

But the safe cocoon Calla has carefully built is shattered when she discovers her mom has stolen her college money and run up a huge credit card debt in her name. Now, Calla has to go back to the small town she thought she'd left behind and clean up her mom's mess again. Of course, when she arrives at her mother's bar, Mona is nowhere to be found. Instead, six feet of hotness named Jackson James is pouring drinks and keeping the place humming.

Sexy and intense, Jax is in Calla's business from the moment they meet, giving her a job and helping her search for Mona. And the way he looks at her makes it clear he wants to get horizontal . . . and maybe something more. Before Calla can let him get close, though, she's got to deal with the pain of the past—and some very bad guys out to mess her up if she doesn't give them her mom.

Jennifer L. Armentrout, New York Times bestselling author of the Wait for You series, delivers a new novel of first love, second chances, and scorching chemistry between an artistic bartender and the tough, sexy cop who's determined to win her.

Roxy's loved Reece Anders since she was fifteen, so when the straitlaced cop finally surrendered to a steamy encounter years later, Roxy hoped he'd fall for her, too. He didn't. Or that's what she's always believed. But then Reece storms back into her life when the man who injured her childhood friend is out of prison and wanting to make amends—something Roxy cannot do.

The last thing she wants is to go there with Reece again, but he's determined to prove to her that he's exactly what she needs. Especially when a sick creep starts messing with her. But what's more dangerous to Roxy—a psycho after her or the past that refuses to let go and allow her to open up her heart again?

Abby Erickson isn't looking for a one-night stand, a relationship, or anything that involves any one-on-one time, but when she witnesses a shocking crime, she's thrust into the hands of the sexiest man she's ever seen - Colton Anders. His job is to protect her, but with every look, every touch, and every simmering kiss, she's in danger of not only losing her life but her heart also.

From Goodreads:
In the irresistibly sexy series from #1 New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout, two free spirits find their lives changed by a one-night stand…

Some things you just believe in, even if you've never experienced them. For Stephanie, that list includes love. It's out there. Somewhere. Eventually. Meanwhile she's got her job at the mixed martial arts training center and hot flings with gorgeous, temporary guys like Nick. Then a secret brings them closer, opening Steph's eyes to a future she never knew she wanted—until tragedy rips it away.

Nick's self-assured surface shields a past no one needs to know about. His mind-blowing connection with Steph changes all that. As fast as he's knocking down the walls that have kept him commitment-free, she's building them up again, determined to keep the hurt—and Nick—out. But he can't walk away. Not when she's the only one who's ever made him wish for forever . . .

My Review:
I loved reading these books! I'm so glad that I finally continued on with this series, I really enjoy these characters, and it means I'm one step closer to having read all of Jennifer L. Armentrout's books! Yeah! Because I love her writing so much!

I think the running theme in this series is that at least one member of the couple has a big reason why they don't want to be in a relationship. Which may or might not be a common thing in NA books, but I don't read a ton of them, though I've read more recently, and really enjoyed them!

I loved all of these couples! They had their issues and their quirks, but they were all so interesting to read about! It's wild how this series came to be from one stand alone at the time self-published book But I'm so glad that this series exists! I had such a great time reading it!

Most of the time this series is pretty light and romance heavy. But there's an undercurrent of more heavier topics. And I had a really great time watching these characters deal with what was going on in their lives, it added some really great depth to these stories!

These were really great reads, and I can't wait to read the final book in the series!
